Photo Diary#16 No Time

I'm obsessed with wavy hair | Cupcake delivery (& matching nails) | Pancake day | Valentines Roses

Hey there kids!
Sorry I've been a little absent on the ol' blog this week...
So, where have I been and what have I been up to?
Well, if I'm honest, I've just been feeling deflated this last week and I've had raging PMT too (TMI?!). So I just thought I'd have a little break from blogging, I think it's always best to do that when your heart's not really in it, don’t you?
It feels like it's been ages since I last wrote now though, I’ve missed it. I spent a couple of hours last night catching up on my favourite blogs too (Belles Boutique, Pearls and Poodles, and Amy Antoinette to name a couple) it made me realise how much I do love blogging!

Anyway, last week Stef and I had a couple of really nice meals out. Dining out has got to be one of my favourite things. The first place we went to was Polo in Mayfair.
We’ve been here for cocktails before but this was the first time we’ve eaten there. I’m sure it wont be the last though, I think next time I'll do a full review on this place.
Even though it’s a pretty swanky, PMT forced me to opt for the posh fish and chips (such a child at heart). I will say though, they were probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten! The wine was delicious and the cocktails in this place are absolutely beautiful. Definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in the area.

The next place we dined was Skylon on Embankment. The view is pretty spectacular, you can see the whole of the Thames lit up at night. In true blogger style I did try to take photos for you guys but the light really didn't do the view justice.

Oh, I also tried on a couple of wedding dresses in a boutique in Soho last week, eeee! I really liked both of them, but I'm not quite sure at the moment, as we are thinking of getting married abroad now (yeeeeaaah), so that kind of changes things.

As for beauty, I've got a couple of new reviews on the way for you guys, and I'm thinking of filming a ‘favourites’ video, or an updated ‘what’s in my make up bag’ at the weekend too, I haven't filmed for so long now! What do you think?

Sorry I've rambled on for so long!

  1. Sounds like you've had a lovely week, PMT aside. I love eating out, even if it's just Wetherspoons I just really enjoy it!

I definitely think you should do a favourites video :)

I definitely agree that you should just not blog if your heart isn't in it! I go through phases of blogging every day, and then I'll miss like two days and everyone probably thinks I'm really inconsistent but... better than bashing something out for the sake of it!
