Clinique High Impact Mascara

Hey there kids...it's Fridaaaaay, yeeeaah!!
I am caffeined up to the max right now, so as promised yesterday, a new review for you...

I bought Clinique High Impact Mascara a couple of weeks ago now, after reading a raving review on Lily's blog. I knew it would be a good one, for Lily to say it's the best she's ever used is a pretty big deal, cos' she's a high end make up lady. I totally trust her opinion.

However, I stupidly bought this mascara during a lunchtime powershop (tell me I’m not the only one who does this?), so I actually bought the wrong one. Woops.

Anyhoo, I am going to rave about this one regardless. I’m really, really happy with this mascara. I was using MAC before and totally unimpressed by it. This however, is my ideal mascara.

I bought it in 01 black, non-waterproof (I despise waterproof mascara). One swipe on the eyelashes is all you need, and it’s super lengthening. If you like a more extreme look, then it's very buildable too. Perfect.
I love the plastic wand on this. Small plastic wands with little bristles are my favourites, especially when applying on other people, it just makes it so much easier to get into the outer and inner corners or the eye. It also means you have less chance of poking the person in the eye, added bonus.
Another great thing, is that it’s not one of those mascaras that takes a lot of effort to remove either. I literally have no complaints.

Anyway, if you're looking to try a new mascara, I'm pretty sure most of you will like this one. It's £16 so not too pricey as far as high end mascaras go.

Have you ever tried Clinique mascaras? What’s your go to mascara?

What have you monkeys got planned for the weekend?
I’m getting my hair cut tomorrow, slightly terrified as I hate going to the hairdressers.
Oh, I have another shoot next week, for a Sony advert, so I’m excited about that. Obviously this means I need to go make up shopping this weekend J Any excuse hey?!

  1. I'm equally silly on a lunchtime powershop- I'm in such a rush that I always get the wrong things or make irrational decision and end up with a rubbish product! x I'm not one for high priced mascaras, and recently I've been using the new Rimmel Lash Accelerator and it's on offer in Superdrug at the moment- by far the best I've used x

  10. I recently saw this on a video. The girl completely transformed her lashes. They ended up looking so long and beautiful. I remember using this before and thinking it was nothing special, but I might have to give this another try!

  11. I have a sample of this mascara that I got ages ago, I might have to pull it out and try it, I tend to prefer low end mascaras to high end ones so I'm interested to what what it can do :)
