Coconut obsession

I seem to have developed a little coconut obsession of late. I literally cannot get enough of the smell of the things. Every shower and moisturizing product has to be coconut scented right now. I can only think it must be because it reminds me of hot summer holidays, and is just such a gentle comforting scent to apply before bed. So I thought I'd share with you my current shower time favourites.

These little bargains have been the result of my coconut addiction. Although I did look for a slightly fancier coconut flavored shampoo (with no avail), I have been very pleasantly surprised by this range considering it's on the cheaper end of the market.
The Shampoo and conditioner were both £1.29 (I know, crazily cheap?!). They leave my hair squeaky clean and smelling divine, which I was super surprised about considering they are so cheap. I find whenever my hair is feeling a little dull, it's time to change the shampoo routine, and these have livened up my hair a treat.

The body butter was only £3.05, and I am especially in LOVE with it. It's not too thick like some body butters tend to be, it still has a lovely lightness to it and sinks into the skin really quickly.
This just goes to show me that I don't always have to spend tons to get nice quality products, there are a few hidden gems in the drugstores, it's just finding them!
I'll definitely be purchasing all of these again though.

Do you have any other coconut scented products or candles you would recommend to me right now?

Have you tried any of these products before? Do you ever get scent obsessions or is it just me being strange?!

Bobbi Brown foundation sticks

I've been meaning to review this product for a little while now, I never thought I'd stray from my beloved Chanel foundation, but Bobbi Brown is the brand that have done it for me this time.

Being a huge fan of liquid foundation, I didn't think I would like using a stick based foundation at all, I guess I just thought it would look thick and cakey. Well, I was totally 100% wrong on that one! Meet my new favourite go-to.

It's the kind of foundation that makes your skin look flawless without actually looking like you're wearing it, that's what we're all searching for right? I apply mine with a nice big foundation brush, you hardly need any product to get a good coverage, they are easy to blend and  extremely buildable too.
Oh, I've also been tripling them up as concealers too (which they are totally amazing for), and mixing them in with a moisturiser to make tinted moisturiser when I'm having a rare good skin day.

Yes, they are rather pricey at £28 each, but these are total gems. I can't recommend them enough!

Have you tried Bobbi Brown foundation sticks? What's your current 'go-to' foundation?

p.s sorry for the lack of photo of the product on my face, i know it's annoying, but I'm still looking kinda mangey from being ill for so long!

Isolde

Nars Isolde instantly became my new favourite product the very first time I used it.
I wasn't even apply it on myself, I was doing a make-up look on a model for my new website (more on that soon), and so this was a cheeky little purchase for my make-up artist kit.
Of course I ended up dipping into it myself once I saw how stunning it was (it was bound to happen, don't judge me!).

The left shade is a gorgeous shimmery bronze-gold colour, perfect for Christmas time. I've been applying this all over the lid. Then I go into the crease with the right shade, a slightly darker, less shimmery bronze.
The great thing about this duo (apart from the fact that there's a mirror in the compact, why don't all products do this?!), is the pigmentation. You literally need the tiniest bit on your brush and you'll get a great colour pay off. I'm hoping this means Isolde will last a long time.
Both shades in this duo have undertones of orange in, which I wasn't expecting to like on myself, man was I wrong, it's all I've been wearing.

At £24 per duo, they certainly don't come cheap, but considering the single shadows are £17 each, doesn't this count as a bargain?!
This being my first ever Nars eyeshadow purchase, I can certainly see what all the fuss is about around bloggersphere, & personally I would definitely be willing to pay it again. The only problem now is that I literally want all the shades, greedy girl.

Now I've given into the whole Nars hype, I've got my eye on the Laguna bronzer (I know the whole world seems to have this) and the Copacabana highlighter, I think they'll both be making it onto my Christmas wish list.

Have you tried Nars Isolde before? What are your favourite Nars products? Please feel free to recommend me any other duo shades or products too :)

My first You Tube video - A little beauty vlog

Hey everyone, so I filmed my first ever beauty vlog on Sunday, here it is!
I was super super nervous, which I know is ridiculous because there was no one even in the room with me, just me and the camera.
I find it so cringey to watch myself back too, do any of you vloggers ever feel that way?
Anyway, I would love to know what you think (please be nice!). If you have any tips for overcoming camera shy-ness, preferably not involving alcohol, please do let me know!
